Karen Fairchild is an American country music singer and member of the band Little Big Town. She was born on September 28, 1969, in Gary, Indiana. Fairchild moved to Nashville, Tennessee in the mid-1990s to pursue a career in music.
She formed Little Big Town in 1998 with Jimi Westbrook, Kimberly Schlapman, and Phillip Sweet. The band released their debut album in 2002 and have since gone on to achieve success with numerous hit songs and awards, including multiple Grammy Awards.
Fairchild has also pursued a solo career, collaborating with artists such as Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley. She is known for her powerful vocals and emotional performances, as well as her dynamic stage presence.
Fairchild is married to Jimi Westbrook, her bandmate in Little Big Town, and they have a son together. She is also known for her philanthropic work, supporting various charitable organizations and causes.
